So, I wanted to show off the fact that my Valentine roses are growing... above is a picture from last Thursday and below is a picture from today.
I also inadvertently gave myself a lesson in lighting. Can you see the difference in lighting in the two pictures? After watching John take pictures yesterday, I realized the two primary ways I need to grow in photography are in creativity and awareness of lighting situations. I am however proud to say that I understand how to use my camera and I know what shutter speed and aperture changes will do for me, thanks to my wonderful professor at Everett Community College this past summer and the playing around I've done with the camera in the meantime!
